Interesting job?

For a few summers I worked in oil industry construction as a weigh technician. I was on a crew that used hydraulic jacks to lift entire oil rigs, weigh them, and find their center of gravity. It was extremely hot and incredibly dangerous.

Coolest design?

I once helped design a satellite with CAD models, renderings, and infographics for a joint University/NASA/JPL grant proposal.

What I wanted to be?

A chef who specialized in waffles. I got a waffle iron for my birthday that year, and used it to teach my middle school class how to make belgian waffles with powdered sugar and strawberries.

What is my favorite book genre?

My favorite genre is sci-fi, I just finished reading Dan Simmons' classic Hyperion, and also the Da Vinci biography by Walter Isaacson.

What type of movies do I like?

I love movies of all types and watch several a week. The best one's I've seen recently were the surreal and dark Sorry to Bother You, and the hilarious Death of Stalin.

Who is my favorite sports team?

When it comes to sports teams, I am with the New Orleans Saints every day all day, WHO DAT!

What do I do for fun?

I play several instruments and have released my own music. I work on cars and take online courses for no reason other than I like to learn. Recently I have been taking UI/UX classes and building my own visuals and animations!
